84% of the waste produced in Scotland is from commercial and industrial premises (Zero Waste Scotland). The government have set targets which apply to all waste. By 2025, 70% of waste is to be recycled and a maximum of 5% of waste is to be sent to landfill. These targets are staged, and will be driven by increased landfill costs and material bans, therefore:
RECYCLING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE CONSERVES RESOURCES, SAVES ENERGY, PROTECTS THE ENVIRONMENT, AND REDUCES LANDFILL.
We uplift a wide range of materials for recycling. The most common items we recycle are cardboard, paper and light card, drinks cans and food tins, plastic bottles and containers, tetrapaks, textiles, small electrical equipment, redundant IT equipment, and glass. If you have other materials to dispose of please contact us for advice.
At Brightwaste, we do not have a one size fits all approach. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff will work with you to tailor a solution to your needs that is cost-effective and efficient.
We will also ensure that you are provided with the information you need to present your materials for uplift. Our crews regularly receive excellent feedback for their tidy, reliable and efficient service.
